I’ve been trying to record videos with the online screen recorder. It keeps saying I have to “download the launcher,” which I have multiple times already. It doesn’t let me download it anymore times, it keeps saying “error” and I then get the choice to abort, ignore or retry it. • On one of my PCs, I downloaded APowerSoft launcher and install it. When I then press START RECORDING I am asked to download it again. This cycle repeats itself. Cannot start online recorder.

  Please follow the suggestions below to check out this issue.

  1. Open “Task Manager” to check whether the Apowersoft Online Launcher has been launched or not.

  2. Usually, the launcher will run automatically when it’s installed. Could you please check whether the launcher has been blocked by firewall or other security applications on your computer or not?

  Or you can simply download the free desktop version from below URL and use it.

Then, please check the taks manger on your PC and end the process of this online recorder if it's still running in the background, and then launch the program.   I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps but I’m still unable to launch it ??

  Don’t see it running in task manager either.

  Same thing here, It worked a few days ago last time i tried to launch it, it said error. I didnt really care so i pressed the “X” button and went on with my life. Today i tried to open it and it just said “download launcher” I pressed download it said “error replacing files” So i deleted my laptop account and made a new one and tried it again, Same issue. So then i deleted it completely (uninstalled it) And tried downloading it again, It downloaded without any error but still would not launch. Please help.

  I am having the exact same problem. I have tried all the steps repeatedly and it alternates between the error code, or if it completes successfully, it does not launch and tells me to download the launcher again.

  I am also having the same issue. I have tried restarting, redownloading, as well as the desktop version. Is the online recorder down for maintenance?

  The same thing is happening to me, the Apowersoft online screen recorder was working fine two days ago but yesterday it kept asking me to download and install every time I clicked “start recording”, even though I already downloaded and installed it. I tried the task manager thing, uninstalling it and re-installing, restarting my computer, nothing works.

      I have the same problem in my MacBook Pro. The launcher doesn't works anymore, Everytime a message saying: Dowload launcher appears and the app for recording is never launched, I have even uninstalled the antivirus, turning off the firewall, reinstalled the launcher and nothing.

      Unfortunately, using the desktop version doesn't helps because allows only 3 minutes of recording and the tools bar is very big, the online versions was much better.

• First of all, go to this Page and click on Start Recording. If you already downloaded the launcher, your recording will start immediately after clicking Start Recording.

• If you already installed the Launcher, then your recording will start immediately. Otherwise, a speech Popup window will prompt to download the launcher.

• After installing the launcher, you’ll find all the tools related to recording on your desktop screen.

• Click on a Red circle with text REC on the lower left corner. A popup will appear asking “Are you ready?” If you’re ready to record your screen, then click ‘Ok’ button. Otherwise, click ‘Back’ button. You can also find “Hotkeys” to help you while recording your screen. Remember them.

• Now your screen will start recording. You can record your screen without any limits. It gives you quality recordings, unlike other free video recording software.

• You can add text, paint, colours, arrows, circles, squares while recording your screen. You don’t need to wait until editing. Just click on the pencil icon, and you can see a lot of options over there. You can choose one according to your choice and start adding text or shape to your recording.
