I Had a problem with the above applet in that it has been up to now 32 Bit. TP Link has now released a 64 bit version. This app is for use now on Mac OS Catalina and previous Os that will accept 64 bit is s very 'useful bit of gear'. In a network environment where and adsl router or a fibre router is connecter by Wlan port to a TP-Link Ethernet & Wifi Router it allows a printer to be directly plugged into the router, thus not requiring that the local pc/mac nearest to the printer be actually switched on. It means that the Router in a sense works like a printer server saving lots of connection PT.

I contacted TP-Link and found that they actually responded, , had an updated controller about to be released and they have uploaded it on their support site. It means that those of us who were stuck using Mojave or buy a new printer will be able to migrate to a 64bit Catalina environment - if all our other programs have also been updated... I have an Archer D5 router but I believe that they have done this applet across the board.

obviously look for the similar update in the section for your TP-Link Router.

This just tells me what a brilliant investment TP-Link Routers are in that they have a team that makes sure that their routers and helping software will work on the Mac OS. Its an older model. They could have called it quits. They continued to provide an ongoing service... Next time I buy a router I will look their way....
